Mission of N17 DAO

The mission and purpose of N17 DAO is to come from the community and be used in the community. N17 uses the convenience of the DAO community to solve the unfair problem in financial transactions of blockchain digital assets to achieve "decentralized" governance effects and create a fair and open participation environment and experience.

By introducing the on-chain governance committee mechanism, N17 has taken a more solid step on the road to decentralization. In N17 DAO, everyone can become a member of the council, which stimulates the enthusiasm of users to participate in DAO governance. The decision of the council represents the maximization of the interests of users, so the launch of all products on N17 is in line with the interests of the vast majority of users, making it a new business form that can be quickly upgraded to respond to market demand after the product is launched.

Token holders are the owners of N17 platform tokens. Each token represents a vote for the election of members of the N17 DAO council, and the N17 DAO council is responsible for the decision-making of the N17 platform. Holders should vote for candidates who can represent their demands and ensure the healthy development of the N17 platform.

Like other blockchains based on the PoS consensus mechanism, N17 combines cryptography and game theory to build a strong and sustainable network. Token holders can obtain corresponding incentives through voting, which will help all governance participants be jointly responsible for the security and sustainable development of the N17 blockchain. This democratic mechanism provides the N17 blockchain with all the tools needed for decentralized on-chain governance.

Council Candidates

Any holder can register as a candidate for the N17 DAO Council. Council members will have the opportunity to become consensus nodes, and we recommend all candidates to set up relevant nodes before registration.

The top 21 council candidates will be elected to the N17 DAO council, including general council members and consensus nodes. Council members are responsible for maintaining the normal operation and network activity of the N17 platform. The council can make proposals to modify parameters on the chain such as network fees, and can assign other governance roles such as Oracle nodes.
